We support home-based producers through a business relationship with them which is fair, and not exploitative.
Allowing producers to structure their work to fit it in with their lives, structuring work so that children and family needs can be incorporated. We make sure people are well-supported seeing producers as people; not just as producers of goods.
Currently, Rajana buys from 130 home-based producer families in different provinces. This support takes the form of a fair business relationship.
Some of our producers have been selling their goods to Rajana Association for ten years or more, and are happy to say that their lives have improved in terms of increased income. Now, families are able to send their children to school, have enough food for the family and purchase motobikes for transportation.
Rajana is registered with the Cambodian government as a local association; a non-profit group owned by its members.
We are a member of Artisans Association of Cambodia. See our certificate.
